I am knee deep in payday loans now have 8 due to a scam that I fell into trying to get a loan. I need help bad because it is running into thousands of dollars and I can't pay my bills and Dr bill that was out to get the loan for in the first place. I was under alot of stress at work and man those scammers know how to play it I lost over three thousand dollars and now I owe more than that and can't pay my bills.

They refer to this as an one time customer courtesy. I wanted to hug the rep when she told me this !

Well, my vehicle is finally paid off and I have one of two options. I can either pay down my credit cards month by month using money I would be making a car payment with. The other option is selling my vehicle and using that money to pay them all down significantly at one time. I have been wanting a new vehicle and it seems as if this gives me the opportunity to buy one and finance the whole thing with no down payment or trade in. I have always heard that having a secured vehicle loan is much more appealing to your credit than having the same amount in credit card debt.

ok, 180 days late with Chase I owe $5000.00. They are offering $3007. and are saying if I don't take it they will sue me. Can I get some help of what others have done or heard about Chase suing. They say then I will owe $5k + court costs. HELP

My husband and I cannot seem to manage money well at all. We had a chapter 7 discharged over 7 years ago and I know about the new law and 8 years. My biggest question is, can he be fired from a job for filing bankruptcy? Is there a protection against this when filing? I know if we were to file for chapter 7 again we have to wait until it has been discharged for 8 years. I know 13 is pennies on the dollar but if we can't pay anything extra to out debt, is that even worth trying or will that protect us until we would be eligible to refile for 7?
