I have a collecton agency wanting money, but they want more than I can give. Do they have to accept even $25.00 a month if they want $200.00?

Hello, My chapter 7 bankruptcy was discharged two years ago. I kept my house and my car. I did not reaffirm the debt for either. I was completely unaware of the option to reaffirm and what it meant. I have always been current on both my mortgage and car loan. I discovered recently that the car shows discharged on my credit report, but the mortgage reports current. I'm in the process of trying to refinance and was trying to figure out why my car payments don't show reported. The auto company explained to me that I'm not liable for the remaining debt if I was to return the car to them.

I have been called by these people for 28 months and have told them every time they have the wrong person and the wrong phone number for that person. They tell me they will delete the number but in the next day or two someone else will call and ask for lolitta delgado again. They have told me personal information about her and so if you are on this blog lolitta know that they are making you private business public which is against the law big time.

This forum helped me tremendously throughout my CC debt settlement. I did settle, and was informed that I will receive a 1099 form showing the forgiven debt (30k for us) which I have to claim as 'income' on my tax return. Long story short, this would be quite a burden for us; HOWEVER, if you can show you are insolvent at the time of settlement, then the forgiven debt is deducted from the amount you are insolvent. my credit score has been compromised over a late payment along with my parents and since it is considered 10 loans bc of different semesters borrowed it has dropped my credit score 200 points and also my parents because they are cosigners. The accounts are all up to date but I was wondering if there was anything I can do to fix this?

I do not have a job and now most of my bills have gone to collections

is there a loan or program to get us money to pay back loans from family and friends and bills that are behind

I have 5 payday loans - 2 of which will end with a final payment tomorrow. I would like to resolve the other three. Based on information I gathered on this forum I placed a block with my bank on any further ACH debits from the three pdls. I am drafting letters to them as well as letters of complaint to the BBB, NY State Banking and the FTC. I have now read some discouraging exchanges which lead me to believe that this strategy won't work.

Ok Im down to the last few PDL's 2 of them are Cash Advance Network and Pay Check Today.... I am researching but if anyone has had any dealings with them Id appreciate you sharing. I believe that are part of the Indian tribal thing...but unsure...
