I closed my account a couple of weeks ago, then I just got a letter in the mail telling me that I got a bunch NSF charges. Now my closed account is in the negative. I called the bank and they told me I need to come in. Has anyone had this situation come up where even the account was closed the pals tried to take out the money and you were still charged and what should I tell the bank to stop this from happening again?

Greetings to All! Most of you know my story, 87k settled for 27k. And I owe mucho to this great forum and the outstanding advice. Decided that since my journey was complete to take a road trip. It was a 10 day journey that really cleared out the cobwebs. Almost 4,000 miles in total. I paid for everything with my debit card. Nothing extravagent; just fuel, food and camping. So my wife has 4 cards totaling $120,000 that she is currently over 120 days late on. Can someone who has experience with settling cc debt tell me if you need to settle them all at the same time(within a couple weeks) so that when they pull your credit they don't see any other debts settled or is it ok to settle one first and wait a couple more months on the others to ensure you are getting the best offer? I received a letter from First National Collection Bureau claiming I owe. However this isn't my debt. What do I need to do?

We are currently 160 days late and they are offering a 40% settlement on a 19,000 balance. Do you think we should take the offer or should we wait a bit longer?

I settled a judgement with cacv and was told I will receive a letter that it was settled, however i did not receive such letter and the court records shows not satisfied.

Has anybody had any luck working with the little loan shoppe? The facts: I took out a loan in the amount of $300 on May 18th, 2010. I was under the impression that it was a payday loan (like everything else). The following withdrawals were made from my checking account: May 28th - $105 June 9th - $105 June 25th $105 July 9th - $105 July 23rd - $105 Totatl amount paid: $525 Online PDL's are illegal in the state of Nebraska. I contacted the little loan shoppe with this information.

ok so i got a phone call from a gentleman from this group threating me saying that they were gonna have a police man come to my house for check fraud and all kinds of other things for a loan from insta loan which i don't remember this loan so i set up payment and when i looked online i saw all this information about it. The guy was very rude and harsh and I got scared so I set up the payments but I did not send them a notiorized paper can i cancle the payments? I asked them to send me paperwork and to give me the number to the place where the loan was and they refused what can i do?

my husband is blind and uses a cane, he recentley retired from the dept. for the blind, our income fell and i and disabled and my medications cost about 15 hunderd dollars a mo when i get in the donut hole in medicare part d, he wasnt read the contract i understand that is no excuse , but he took out 9 of them at 54 dollars for 500dollars for 2 weeks all we have is social security, he is suicidal and can't even sleep , he got these loans about 5 times ea. then we were a victum of identity teft and we lost money in our acount and had to close the checking acount the 8 checks ere written on.

my husband aquried 8 payday loand in iowa, he is blind and they didn't read him the contract i mean he had a cane, he got these loand at lest 5 times ad paid them back at 55 dollarsd for two weeks timns then we had identitey theift and had to close the account and have no money to pay the payday checks what can they do to us
