I have defaulted on a storefront loan with Checksmart in Ohio July 31st. I spoke to their corporate office on August 16th in regards to the returned check and obviously was told that the storefront is not permitted to take partial payments nor are they. So I was given the option to contact their representative on August 21st to see if I can make payment arrangments. They want 1/2 and I know I won't have it. I received yet ANOTHER call today at my place of employment.

Okay, so as I am slowly starting to get out from under this horrible payday loan cycle, my last lender and the only legal lender is Speedy Cash. I have been going back and forth with them for two weeks now trying to set up a payment plan I can afford. I was actually able to avoid closing my account and so far none of the illegal lenders have tried to mess with it. As of right now Speedy Cash has access to my account since I did not revoke authorization to debit to them because I truly do want to pay them off, but I can't do it on the terms they are offering.

I have 4 pay day loans debiting my account every 2 weeks for a total of 538.00. I have gotten further behind in bills and would like help in getting the payment lower and once monthly. I have full intention of paying my debt but I need to keep the electricity on as well.

My husband is being sued by Michael J Scott , who is representing a collection agency , who is also representing Citibank ( in my husbands case he never had a Citibank credit card so they might have bought that account from some other credit card account my husband had ,who knows) I am in the process of typing up a response as well as sending out a verification of debt to there p o box number they provided on the law suit. This person can not even be honest and provide a proper address in order to be served himself.

I'm goint to file bk soon, both my cars are old and in fair condition. after I file will it be hard to either finace or lease a car??

I really need to start getting serious about paying off my debt. I have around 38k, most of which is with B.O.A., Chase, and Discover. My APR's range from 14% - 19%. I have never missed a payment in my life and have decent credit scores (high 600's - low 700's), which I would like to avoid ruining. I try to pay a little more than my minimum payments, but it is a struggle. I am barely squeaking by every month. I have looked into Care One and their debt management plan. They have an A+ rating with the BBB and I've heard really good things about them.
