Collection agencies are harrassers and intimidators. Thats all they know how to do. I have not seen any nice nor understanding one. My husband has cancer and we have no insurance. We have to use bill and food money to pay for medication and when you cannot not pay they really get the guns out. How sad. What has this world come to? Nobody cares if you have a disease. They would rather you die.

Okay so thanks to the wonderful advice on this forum I have broke free of the vicous loan cycle I was in. I have cancelled all bank accounts and sent my revocations of W.A. ,and ceased all verbal contact with the people of zip19,northway financial, and their associates. After waiting quite some time I have gotten a response.

We got a 80/15 mortgage on our house which allowed us to not have to pay PMI. It was an interest only loan. 80% was based on market rate and then the 15% was at a higher rate in lieu of PMI. We put 5% down? Is it possible to settle the 15% loan and continue to pay on the 80? We are currently insolvent and settling over 150k in credit card debt. I know you can settle HELOC's but can you settle loans like this as well?

i received a phone call yesterday regarding a pdl they said i took out in 9/2008 for 300.00 and never paid back they said i was going to be sued for over 5000.00 and they were saying things like check fraud and money laundering what should i do i have never received any phone calls or emails fro these people they said they have called me i have never had calls i have paidd everyone i have ever gotten back and if i was going to be late i called and made arrangements

is there a class action suit against this company / I was approached over the phone caller indicated to me that sheriff would be coming to my home to arrest my husband cause a civil suit has been filed by these people. Does anyone have any helpful info for us

I have 4 payday loans with: Advance America (storefront) Cashnetusa Cashone Elastic I also have direct deposit advance on 2 different accounts for $500 each.
