I received a release from one of my PDL today (Integrity Advance) I have until August 23 to accept. There is a part of me that wants to push for the $400 refund that they owe me but the other side wants to just take the paid in full and run. Any suggestions?

I am currently working with a debt consolidation compnay and they settled 4 out of 6 accounts. Can I cancel them without having to pay the remainder legal fees?

If God is all powerful, can he incur a mountain of debt so huge that he, himself, cannot repay?

Hi, I'm currently being sued by a university over a defaulted Perkins loan. The principal plus interest is around $8k, which I don't dispute. However, they're also asking for collection fees of about $7100. Is this kosher? I thought collection fees were limited to 25% of principal + interest. What is my recourse, if any?
