can i open a checking account with bad credit ??

my husband and I are great people but we have had an awful relationship with our money. we got into a terrible payday loan hell, borrowed money to get out and ended up right back in again. Now we owe 10 payday loans plus the personal loan. UGH! it's eating us alive and I am sick to my stomach every day! I can't pay any bills and those things are racking up by the paycheck, taking all our money leaving us with only a stomach ache and headache that won't go away. Please tell me what to do to get out of this horror right away.

I.m in big trouble i've got maybe 7 or 8 returned checks and was incarcerated and am now trying to get them all figured out so i can make payments and pay myo0ld account because it is over drawn because of nsf fees applied to it . Is there any one who consolidates these debts so i can make one mothly payment i do not want to go to jail and that would not get them paid

I am thinking of filing Chapter 7. I was involved in a really bad motorcycle accident a couple of years ago. The woman who hit me had no insurance. My medical expenses have gotten so way out of hand that I am in major debt. As a result, I haven't been able to work sine 2007. I now have a lot of cc debt as well. I was able to get a judgment against the other party for $800,000 however, she doesn't have a job and hasn't paid me a single cent and is never going to pay me anything. Will I be able to file chapter 7 or is the judgment going to make it impossible?

I am 141 days late and they just offered 45% of my $12,300 balance. They said it gets charged off at 180 days late. Anybody go through this similar experience? Do you think they will go lower as the 180 days approach? I offered 30% and they said they never go that low which I know is a lie.

I have about six payday loans, one is in default and the others I have been pushing back the due dates, and now all the dates have run into each other and can not afford to pay them all back in full. I have contact several of the loaners and only one was willing to work with me. Im think of consolidating them together for one easier amount rather than six. I just dont know what to do, any suggestions???

My son defaulted on his student loans. He has four of them, all with Citigroup. I'm a cosigner on 2 of them. The collection agency for one of them added the amount of one of the loans I'm NOT "responsible" for to the balance of one that I am resposible for. Of course they didn't tell me that and tried to represent it as ONE loan. I asked for and recieved the original paperwork and it shows that I DID NOT sign for it. How do I get them to back off? Also they want me to pay a balance and they'll "bill me later" forany misc. charges. They've done many things that border on fraud etc.

Since I don't have the money to pay off my debt and the collecter is demanding I pay in full, or if I do make payments, they want me to give them my debit card number? If I send them a cashiers check and they cash it, is that the sam thing as having a contract? and can they still threaten to take me to court if I keep sending them money?

This is my situation: I have been out of a job for the last 8 months of so but have made all the minimum payments on our (+ wife and a kid) credit cards so far. We have maxed out all our credit cards and now I need to do something about all our credit cared debt. At the same time I am planning to apply for an MBA program which will probably cost me about $150k over two years, if I get accepted, and would need to borrow all of that money.
