We have got to get some help quick! It is a long story but it goes a little like this..... have had two foster children for the last two years (kinship care with very little government help, as in it didn't even pay for childcare for one!) and 3 of our own in either college or grad school plus one out on their own and one in high school, plus paying back a chapter 13 = going under fast! Can't go under....too close to coming out on the other side! Can someone please give some suggestions for a legitimate lending agency or option that we can utilize short-term?

Hi, I have been receiving calls from National Financial Services. Several months ago I called them back and they asked for my SS# in order to confirm that I am the person they are after, ( I have a rather common name) I would not give my SS# to anyone over the phone so they said they would keep calling... and they have.

I keep getting letters from this bunch for months and it is offers to pay 50% or 40% depending on what plan you chose. They show an original creditor and account numbers and a balance. It does say the part about it is an attempt to collect a debt blah blah. But I don't see the part where I have 30 days to dispute the debt. I don't ever remember getting any other kind of letter just these instant discount things. Is this legal and should I save them to show the judge if this goes to court? I'm afraid to send them a dv letter as it doesn't say anything about the 30 days.

Hi - I am over my head in online payday loans and interest. I would like to pay them back but it is now costing me $1000 monthly ($500 each paycheck) just to pay the interest.
