I live in Ohio and have an internet loan with cashnetusa.com. They are legal in Ohio. I defaulted on my loan, wrote them a letter explaining my circumstances and proposed a payment plan. My principal balance due and owing is $600. They responded back by saying, "We have received and noted your request for ceasing all telephone communications. All telephone communications will now cease. All our communication is done via email or over the phone. Since we are an online based company, we do not respond via postal mail.

I current have credit cards and Loans that i have to manage paying all at once i just want to pay them off and just pay one loan every month

how to find out if a online loan company is legitimate. i have been offered a 10,000 loan but they want me to pay 1400 for collateral. is this common

There is a group of scammers operating from India that is purchasing old payday loan applications and posing as debt collectors and even law enforcement officers trying to recover on an old payday loan.
