I am in a tough fnancial bind right now and am considerng bankruptcy as my alternative to take care of all my debt..... I am just concerned with what will happen to my credit after I file. What happens to credit score after bankruptcy?

Hi, last year we negotiated settlements with two credit card companies and paid them off. However, we are receiving 1099's totalling about $23,000 that we must report as income. Is there any way to appeal or hold these off a year and pay interest? Is there any loophole worth hiring a tax lawyer for? Last year we got a $4500 refund, but this will just about wipe it out for 2009 tax year. Thank you!

I am doing some research, basically trying to forward soem information to the PA dept. of banking, as they are working on new payday loan licensing and law. This forum has given me a great deal of answers, but specifically I would like to know if there is a thread or a list of the lenders who are 100% illegal and not licensed anywhere in the US. I know that paydayloanyes.com is illegal and located in the bahamas, also zip19.com is located in malta, and ameriloan/oneclickcash/etc are located on indian reservation. Does anyone here have a total list of all non-us licensed lenders.

I have 7 payday loand all internet. This is the first week i will not be able to pay the finance fee. It's realling stressing me out and making things at home worse. Below is who I owe and how much. I haven't even been able to pay down loan amounts. This is proably the worse thing I have ever done.

Can the credit card company report the part you didn't pay as income? I was told they can't but can not find any information about it.

I just got call from Capital One and they know i have enought money on my Wachovia Bank to settle with them at 80%. I was so shocked that they have access on my checking account. I bollowed from my co-worker $10000 each so $20000 was available to settle with Citi and Discover and they call me immediatly when funds are available. What is my strategy here, I don't think I can say that money is for settle with other creditors. Also, how they can access my account to know my balalnce? Please share with me any idea.
