What restrictions does Chapter 7 impose on employers and creditors

The FDIC has announced the results of a two-year pilot program designed to help banks offer alternatives to payday loans that would be "safe, affordable and feasible." Under the test program, participating banks offered loans of up to $2,500 at maximum interest rates of 36% -- instead of the 400% offered by some payday lenders.

Can these consolidation services be used for corpoate cards?

Yesterday when I was at home I heard a women shouting my name though a open window, scared me half to death. She gave me some papers that said they were a summons and told me to call a number for a law firm and that if I didnt it would just get worse. But after looking at the papers I am not sure if they are legitimate. There is no case number, the papers look unproffessional and at the bottom of the first page it says This communication is from a debt collector. If it was a real summons wouldnt it say it was from the local county courthouse? Please help! Thanks.

With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you were agreeing to. You are a citizen of the state of Florida. However the contract was not made in the state of Florida. The contract was completed via the World Wide Web.

Hi, How do I go about or does anyone know if cashnetusa.com, zip19.com, and unitedcashloans.com are able to lend to Washington State residents? I have been getting loans from these lenders for over a year now. I just can't get out of this hole! Please help.

Just received notice in the mail that my wages will be garnished in a month for Stafford loans in default. I just finished the online application to have the loans consolidated. I know this will take 60 days at least to process, so what can I do to stop the garnishment from starting? Really want to avoid the embarassment of it at work. Do I request a hearing?

Has anyone ever heard of cash capital I havnt until I got a email and now a letter from them today stating I owe them $1275.00. The letter was a settlement offer for $956.25.I went to there web sight and looked up there information and it had a license there that said they could only issue pdl to residents of Utah (if I read it right). I live in Alaska. I have taken out a couple of pdls but have no knowledge of this one. I have no outstanding loans either. What do I need to do here.? Any answers greatly appreciated. Thanks
