Currently all debt is in a HELOC. ‎ The breakdown is approximately $20,000 of this debt is for a home addition. Hello- I recently paid off 5 PDL's and am currently disputing one from Oneclickcash. Other than that, I was all paid up...or so I thought. I had completely forgotten about a loan of $500 that I had borrowed from Idealgelt, right before I took control of my financial situation. I think I forgot about it because they have virtually disappeared. I never heard from them after they deposited the funds, which would have been at the end of March. Today I received a letter from Alliance Asset Management who said they now have my debt and it has gone from $500 to $825!

When the spouse dies, is the surviving partner responsible for his/her debt? What is the law regarding this. My 65 years old mother is being bothered over a credit card debt that has been taken out by her deceased husband. Is she responsible for it?

I have taken out 3 loans: All 3 are from the same Store Front: Payday Loan Store in IL Each loan is $1000 Every paycheck I owe $840.00 This is KILLING ME!! SO mad I took these out!! Was in a crunch that I thought I would be able to repay with a commission check BUT unfortunatly it did not end up being as large as I had hoped. The $840 covers interest and a small amount of pricipal. I asked the manager of the PDLS if there was anyway to stop the interest and let me begin to pay back the loans.

So, i just got my credit report and have several credit cards that went into collections from a couple years ago and i wanted to know the best way to handle these. I would like to get the originial creditor as well as the collection company removed.

I just got a letter for VCS and Associates out of NY stating; This account has been turned over to VCS & Associates for immediate collection. Please respond to this request for payment within 10 days of receipt of this notice to avoid further collection activity. Be advised VCS & Associates, LLC has full power and authority to collect, sue, discharge, and/or settle any portion of the account listed above. The Originalcreditor was CashNet in the amount of $1241.87. what should I do. They keep calling me at work and on my cell.
