How does signing up for this program affect your credit rating?

Hey everyone! About six months ago I took out a payday loan and ended up defaulting on it through Cash Net USA. In all I owe them about $611.63. It was sold off to a third party collection agency that goes by the name of National Credit Adjusters. On or around April 7, 2010 a woman called me from NCA on my work number. I informed her I could not accept personal phone calls at work. I gave her my cell phone number to reach me at. The very next day, April 8, 2010 the same woman called my work again asking for me.

Anyone settled with State Farm Bank credit card lateley?? I ams 33 days late and they are MEAN. Not like the other creditors. Made it very clear they will not settle, work with any debt companies (which is fine with me) or attorneys! I really can't find much info on here about them. Anyone????

I have several online loans and I am closing my account. However, I am concern about ACH reopening my account. I would also like to know if any of these online companys are legal and address or the best way to send a letter to them about not pulling from my account.. I had an AT&T account for a cell phone and after the 2-year contract I changed to Verizon. However, my final statement from AT&T was incorrect so I disputed the amount. I finally paid the erroneous bill because it was taking too much time & effort to warrant the dispute and I didn't want a negative mark on my credit report. However my check was returned to me and I received a collection notice from Palisades. I made sure the account was paid in full and not late, yet Palisades is reporting it as a collection--even after I disputed it with all 3 credit reporting agencies.

How do I handle creditors that raise my interest rate when I haven't paid late, I pay the min amount due plus interest and haven't used the card in months!
