Is BMG a legal online payday loan establishment?

Okay, I took out a loan with them for $500 and then after reading the post about this company I took it upon myself and I closed my account before they could touch it. They just called me today and they said before I haven't even made a payment, they are taking me to court for fraud. Can they do this and is there a letter that I can send that will state something along the line of I can't pay the full amount but I can pay $50 here and $50 there by money order? I want to pay them but I don't want them to get my new account #. Please help.

after being denied numerous times when applying for ANY form of credit i got my credit report. thats when i discovered that two cell phone companys had sold debts that i was completly unaware of to afni, one of the companys i still had service with! anyways, i just want to repair my credit score and move on! the two items total about $1200. what is my best way of dealing with this? call afni offer to settle for a lower $ amount?

I thought they went by the state you live in, but in doing a lot of reading, I stumbled across where some credit card companies have on their cardholder agreements or amendments later the following notation (This one being taken from an amended agreement): "In addition to the other changes described below, please note that as of the effective date, your Cardholder Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware." So, does that mean that said credit card will be governed by the SOL of 3 years?

if i recieved a payday loan online, and i live in michigan but have no idea where the loan came out of, can they sue me or send me to jail for this in whatever state they are in

The debt in question took place in early March 2003. Rj acquired the debt in March 2008 from Bank. What can I do?
