Co Par Group? 800-385-0470

15 years 10 months ago
I can't find anything on this number. I called back & it said "Co Par Group" on the voicemail but its late. It was an animated voice but they called again saying that if my mother-in-law doesn't call back they will sue her & send letters to her home and place of employment. She is retired so employement place would be hard... Anyone know about this number or group?

Serious Threats

15 years 10 months ago
Some "law firm" in New York who has non-english speaking people working there, has been constantly harassing me about a payday loan I allegedly took out. They are calling me at work, home and on cell phone. They threatened to come to my work and have me taken away in handcuffs in front of my employees and said my employer will find out about what I've done and I will be fired.

settlement

15 years 10 months ago
I have been talking to a few of my different creditors, asking for settlements, and part of that settlement would be that it would show paid in full. However, each of the different creditors all state that they HAVE to report that the debt was settled and that a 1055C??(pretty sure this was the form they mentioned) would have to be sent out and be claimed on our taxes next year. Is this one of their negotiation tactics, or is there truth to this, that they can only report the settlement this way?
