I had an unpaid credit card with bank of america for a little over $7000 that got turned over to a collection agency called Collectcorp several months ago.I followed the instructions on this forum and mailed them a debt validation letter within 30 days after I received their first letter.

If CashnetUSa is a legal payday loan and sold the loan to a debt buyer named M. Callaghan and Associates am I obligated to pay them? They are not licensed in Minnesota to collect but I was told by the Minnesota dept of commerce they didn't need to be. I am sending a debt validation letter certified with return receipt but just want to know if I have to pay them or make arrangements with them in the future. They bare a debt buyer co.

Has anyone had the collection account removed from their credit report from My Cash Now? I have them and Paradise Cash Advance on my credit report.

So I put a freeze on my bank account, and have paid loanpoint usa 540 in intrest on a 600.00 loan. I have emailed them daily about how they are illegal etc. and have gotten no response from them, today I emailed them a wage revocation form and now they are blowing up my phone - should I not answer? The payment of 360 (finance fee) was unpaid on 3/31 and it was the first one returned to them and they seem unphased by it so now what?

I have a question. I have been receiveing calls from some people from this company. They are from another country, they have very hard acsent. like from india. They keep harrasming me at work. well i got a call today saying i need to call malorie at 800-654-7444 ext 822 for a court apperence. Can these companies do that?

Hi, I live in NH and have 3 pay day loans and I know that Ameriloan and United Cash are not licensed in any state but what about DJR Group? I want to send out the emails to them demanding to stop ACH ect. but I want to make sure I know all the information and I do not know NH laws on Pay Day loans.

Just wanted to report this one. It's been a long process but so far settled 14 cards and everybodys getting very tired. This one went off at 51.5% but they allowed 6 payments. My advice was not to do it but as I said it's tiring and we're almost done. Best number was 19.6% with BOA and this one was the highest...
