recently called a collection agency for a debt listed in my credit report from equifax. the name of the collection agency is Client Services, INC. I live in virginia. the Collection agency is saying that no payment arrangements can be made. the debt was referred to them back in 2006 from ATT/cingular I believe from a CELL phone bill (maybe). any and all help is appreciated!

Hello all. My mother has terminal cancer and is in a facility under hospice care. She has a ridiculous amount of credit card debt and we have been paying her minimum monthlies but recently got a letter from Medicaid saying we now have to pay the nursing home (although they haven't invoiced us yet). Should we quit paying the credit cards and are there sample letters out there to send so they won't call and bother us about it? Or do we keep paying the minimums on the credit cards and wait until the home invoices us?

I got a letter from a collection agency that I am still fighting with to find out who the original creditor was and when the debt was incurred. My question is what is the statue of limitations on a payday loan? I am thinking that it is about a payday loan from years ago but I am not sure yet. And does anyone have advice?

I've been a CMS customer for almost two years. All of my time, money and communicating with them seems to be amounting to very very little. At this point. I'm wondering if this whole thing is a scam or they are just terrible at communicating with their customers. The only thing I am receiving is a ton of letters and phone calls from collection agencies. There used to be all sort of posts all over the internet with CMS customers discussing their experiences with the company, and now, I can't seem to find a single thread on any site from 2010. What happened?
