Does anybody have any experience settling with Macy's DSNB on their VISA or revolving Red Star Rewards cards? I can't find anything on here regarding them.

SSDI and student loan

I'm disabled and living on SSDI. Can I get a discharge on my student loan if I file BK? I can no longer continue paying the creditor. My SSDI check hardly covers my medicine expenses.

How to rebuild my credit

I am currently enrolled with a debt settlement program and as the program required I had to stop paying my creditors which has taken its toll on my score. I'm now wondering that how I can go about repairing my credit once I am done with the settlement. I've heard about subprime credit cards but they seem to have very high rates. I don't want to get into the same situation again. What are my alternatives?

Goldman & Warshaw- Default judgement

I am being sued by Goldman and Warshaw. I talked with an agent at that firm at the time I received a Special Civil Part Summons to try to reach an agreement. The person I talked with said that I needed to complete a monthly budget assessment in order for me to reduce my monthly payments. I completed the form and returned it to Goldman and Warshaw 3 days later. I further called to confirm receipt of the document at their office and to enquire about what was happening. I was told at the time to call back in a couple of days as it had not been processed.

Citicard Help

I'm in some financial trouble...as is everyone else these days. Here's my scoop. One year ago, my Citi CC was at 46,000. The person I spoke to on the phone set up a payment plan. She told me it was no interest, no late fees and paying down principle. Well, as of today, I found out that was untrue. This whole time I've been getting late fees and finance charges, etc. The man on the phone today, noticed she didn't set it up correctly and only set up drafts to be taken out each month for 1 year.

discount advances in tx

Does anyone know if this is a legal lender in TX? I don't find anything on them in the CSO Searches. I am in an endless loop with them. I would like to send the c&d letters to them, and close my account, but do not want to get in trouble in TX for closing my account. I have had many loans with them over the past year. the current one was for 1300, I have paid 900, and plan to pay the rest of the principal. although through this cycle I have paid them over 4000 in fees and interest. Thank you

impersonating "officers"

i've read about it, but this is my first acual call i've recieved. they called from a private #. the message they left was weird. i know its b.s. but i'm determined to not let them get away with it. here is a run down on the message. he said this is Officer Jack Anderson and i need you to return this call immediatly to 206-801-5293. in regards to the legal action thats been filed against your name and social security number. then he mumbled and said somthing about signing a warrant. it was hard to make out but he emphasized the warrant part. then said again this is Officer Jack Anderson.

Chase CC

I have a delinquent acct with Chase. During a recent conversation with the CSR when I mentioned that I have received several VMs asking me to call them back at different "800" numbers, the CSR told me to be careful because there are a lot of scams out there (she suggested calling the # on my cc) and also suggested I send a C&D letter to Chase (she gave me the fax # and address) and tell them that I only want to correspond via mail.

Question about co-signers

This story seems pretty nuts to me...my girlfriend has her uncle as a co-signer on her student loan...she missed one payment, by several days...and apparently the loan people never called her and contacted her uncle...i thought this was a bit severe for such a minor delinquency. She paid it though but her uncle is upset...so i'm asking, what sort of credit impact could her uncle expect from this?
