Hello to all of you. I have been researching on this wonderful site for a couple of months. Thank you to all of you for all your wonderful information. My situation is that my wonderful husband of 30 years passed away suddenly and tragiclly two years ago. I have been stuggling to stay afloat and I am now sinking. I am over 7 months behind on my mortgage and now finally the bank is helping to get my loan modified. I started that process almost a year ago....another stessful situation. I had a little life insurance and used that to help me pay off a few bills and also to help me exist.

I keep hearing that car insurance companies are using credit scores to determine how much to chage consumers. How has it affected you? Do they look at just the credit score, or the entire credit report?

Has anyone used Guardian Services? I heard an ad on the radio and called to find out about their program. I've called other companies who charge a fee based on your total amount of debt which I did not like since all fees are collected within 12 months. Guardian services charge their fees after an account is settled. Why is it that most companies charge all of their fees upfront and this one only charges you after an account is settled?

Has anyone dealt with National Bank of Arizona and their assistance in getting your account on Deposit only or hard block ACH? I am going there in the morning and just want to know what I should expect? Help!!!!

Hello, I am in MN. Took out loans with First Bank of Delaware and Payday 1 last February. (I had reloaned with them). Anyways, I got 2 emails (1 from each company) willing to settle my balance at 60% of just the principal. So Friday I paid Payday1 the settlement with my check card.

I have just learned internet payday loans are illegal in KY. I have tried to explain this to my lenders and get the same response "You agreed to the loan so you must abide by our state laws". Is there any truth to this? I have also read you don't have to pay anything to these guys(principal or fees) if they are illegal, is there any truth to this? Thanks for any help you may have.
