Here is the brief story: 4/23/08 recieve letter from debt collector and I send letter to validate debt. Return normal letter and I again ask for debt validation. Nothing else comes from this debt collector. 9/29/09 another letter comes from a different Debt collector and I once again ask for debt validation. They return letter not confirming but saying about the same stuff. I send another letter asking for original paperwork that I signed showing I owe this debt.

NOw i just cut up my credit cards & closed accounts of credit cards.. But i need it for online transactions. The sellers only accepts payments by credit card. Ok, Now i have no credit card & now i can't make payments to them. But i have debit Cards. Can i use it like a credit card. Thanks.

I just a letter back from the OK AG and basically it says their neither agree nor disagree with what NCA sent them, NCA is stating the my account will reamin open are there other complaints I shoudl file? NCA bought an illegal payday loan from CMG Group which I never appiled for they deposited $300 in my account and I paid back $360 and they say I still owe $480 on a loan I never agreed upon or signed anything. They have an electronic signature.

I think I read somewhere that I don't qualify to sue a debt collector if I'm filing bankruptcy. Anyone know if this is true or am I misunderstanding? Also, where can I look to find attorneys for this? Thanks!

Hi all, I'm really confused with this one and any information would help. I recently looked at my credit report and I have these 2 CA's on it. I also have the 2 credit card companies as well (Credit One and HSBC). I was looking over it and I noticed that Credit One and LVNV have the same account number as well as HSBC having the same account number as PR. Both have been charged off as bad debts. My question(s) are: Do I have to all four? If not, can I call the original creditor and still pay them or do I have to pay the CA. I hope this is enough information.

I have Disputed an entry from my OC with the CRA about the listing on my credit report and also about the LVNV Funding listing.

I started this pdl with cash pdl, I made two Payments interest only to them on the third payment I waited for them to deduct from my checking account two paychecks, They did not so I called them to find out that my pdl went to flobridge, The one company split into two companys. I close my checking account because they in default of my agreement with them. I called flobrigde to find out why they didnot take anything out for a months time, They did not have an answer for that and they told me I still owed the interest for that time frame.

if we have been successful at negotiating with some but not all of our creditors, while a couple are not being as willing to work with us, can one do debt settlement or consolidation just with some of one's outstanding debts? or is it an "all or nothing" type deal?

Iam recovering from legal issues and while that was going on my money and my bills fell through. i owe about 25k with 3 credit accounts. Its been about 5 months since i made a payment. And had no contact with the credit/collections people. i am now making money and have enough to start paying these people back. i could be debt free in under a year. with the money im making (motorcycle tech.) i am paying my parents money back for legal fees i had incurred. i will be able to pay my folks back in full in about 4months. what my problem is i have 2 accounts asking for a $1200 min payment.

Hi- I received a threatening call the other day from a jerk who works for The BAM Group ( I believe they also operate under the name of The BAR Group). This person also called my supervisor and we saved both messages as they threated to serve me papers and wanted to know when I could meet them for the serving. I contacted a lawyer and they do say that they are in violation but cannot find an address on these scum. Can anyone help me out with this? I know they are collecting for Payday Loan Yes which is illegal and I would really love to take them down.Thanks so much! Vaughn
