Ok, my last 3 are not responding. Or shall I say as I wish they were.The unknown and blocked calls are about 8-10 a day, ugh!!! I have been mailing letters to them at least 2 a week. Really not sure where to go from here. Stress level is high. The illegal PDL's are Unitedcashloans, Oneclickcash, and Discountadvances. I just got a call from PDM (Viploanshop) stating they are willing to settle for $142 due on 1/22 this includes the NFS fee and I can deal with this. I asked him if this will settle may account with VIP and he said yes this will close the account and he will send me something.

I have a charged off account with credit union. On my credit report it shows the credit union and the funds owed. When I contacted the credit union they advised me that the debt is being handled by a 3rd party CRB Collections. CRB is not on my credit report at all. i am looking to settle this debt ASAP. Should I deal with the 3rd party collection agency even though they are not showing on my report. Any help and advice would be terrific! Thanks

Just got a phone call from a Rosa Martinez saying that she she was from Jacobsen & Associates. Report of fraudulent activity and she needs to speak with me or my lawyer. I know what this is about, I took out a few payday loans, which I have not been able to pay back because I lost my job. Anyone ever deal with these people? Ok, here's my situation. I had an old debt with Citibank for a MasterCard, and being a young dumb college student I let it go until it went into collections. In 2007 I was contacted by a debt collector, and made arrangements to pay a lower amount. That collection agency tried collecting the debt before the agreed upon date, and consequently the payment was declined. However, we did get back in touch with each other on the same day the payment was declined, and i paid with an alternate method. I repeat, I PAID the debt.

I've been fighting with this company for a month now. They just recently sent me an email saying they turned my account over to a collection agency, Detex Agency & Associates. Should I just wait for a letter from the collection agency and then send in a request for debt validation?

Hello, I have two credit card accounts that have not had payments made on them in over 2 years. One is in the amount of $10,500, the other is for about $1500. Both have been charged off and sent to different collection agencies. The original institutions are Chase and Bank of America (with BofA holding the larger debt). I recently came across 20K+ and have a chance to pay these off in full.
