Due to a very nasty divorce, I was left paying for debts that my husband racked up. I receive a letter from Cohen McNeile & Pappas PC demanding payment of an Applied Credit Card. Has anyone dealth with these people? If so, how did it go?:confused: What can I expect?

HI ,I Was just wondering to I have to do all three of my cards at once,or just do one only.I have 2 Bank of America cards and one Citibank. I cant pay my high balance card which is $50,000 on Bank of America card ,but I can pay on other two.Will this hurt me try to settle down the road If the see me paying other Bank of America card and citibank?ShouldI send a fiffty dollar good faith to my high card instead of nothing? Thanks.

Well, I'm in a situation. I was denied personal loan even when my score is 680+. Isn't 680 credit score good enough to get loan? I think the other lenders too would decline my loan application because of this denial, am I right? Also, can anyone enlighten me on the reason of denial?

I have 7 payday loans (storefront) in Oklahoma. They total about $3000. they are not check loan companys, just monthly payments ranging from $60-100. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! My BK attorney is telling me to file chapter 7 bk in Ohio... I don't own much for assets, I'm well under the state exemption for household goods, but I own a small business and my "tools of the trade" exemption is only going to cover 2K, even at auction prices, I'll be thousands over. She is saying that I can just pay the courts the difference and keep the business equipment???? Is this true under a chapter 7 in Ohio? All the debt is personal CC and medical, other than business equipment, I don't own much.

My wife did the unthinkable, and co signed a student loan for a teanage friend. No need to go into the particulars, but the loan has gone into default. Now I'm the bad guy because I want to cough up all the info about her FRIEND; which isn't much to get them off our backs. I am pretty much aware of all the legalities of what my wife has done. Right now I am just trying to figure out what I am up against. She does not recall the loan amount or even an approximate. And of course she did not hold onto any paper work, that makes it easier to keep the whole thing a secret.
