Okay I know it is ridiculous that a college educated person cannot just read on here and figure out what to do, but you guys give so much good information, I just need somone to narrow it down for me. It is seriously information overload for me. I have numerous internet pd loans and I live in Arkansas. I am trying to get these paid off but as everyone else has said, the interest is killing me(though some of you have much worse).

I am being sued by Mann Bracken for Capital One in California. There is a Order to Show Cause hearing on 12/18 for mann Bracken. Should I show up for this hearing? I have not recieved any documents from the court. I saw the hearing on the case summary on line. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I sent a debt validation notice to Nationwide regarding an American Express Account they are trying to collect for. The only thing they sent back in return were duplicate copies of several years statements for the account. They did not include that they were the owners of this debt now, nor did the provide any of the other validation requests such as proving that the statue of limitations is not up, or that they are legal to operate in my state.... etc. No letter of explanation other than simply duplicate copies of statements. Is this considered a valid attempt to validate debt ?

Hi All, I would like to hear from folks who have actually settled or received a PIF from: Zip19 UnitedCashLoans PaydayMax (CD) These forums are great and very helpful, put alot of threads kindof go off. I am not yet in default on 2 PDL's but after reading many threads on this site I understand that as they are not listed as liscensed in Louisiana, my state of residence, they are illegal. I am more than willing to pay what I originally borrowed, but the fees are outrageous. The first loan is with WAGESFAST.com - borrowed $200.00 - pay $76 every 2 wks.

I had an overdrawn bank account in 03. They just now sold it to collections in 09. Does the CA have to show the 03 date when the account was closed or the date they bought the account for collections?

Hello, i have a question i rented a Laptop from a rent to own place called Rent 1st in Texas. The laptop was stolen and i worked it out with them to strip down the amount to there cost after i had paid on it for 6 months to 480.00. I have since then lost my job and i have no money to pay them i waned to know what recoarse they have as far as judgement or what in Texas? I know they cannot garnish wages in Texas unless it IRS but what else can they do besides a Judgement.:confused: Thank you

I have been repeadetly receiving calls from indian speaking people that I can barley understand. They say they are with the federal bureau of unsecured loans. I cannot really understand them to well, but they are relentless and will not stop calling. they something about fraudulent activity. i told them send me something in writing and they won't. I am also receiving other calls from Hudsons Law Firm (not sure if these people are the same as the first callers), but they too are foreign and hard to understand.
