Today i received a letter from Goldman & Warshaw telling that i am being sued. " You are cautioned that if you dont answer the complaint, you may lose the case automatically, and the court may give the plaintiff what the plaintiff is asking for, plus interest and court costs. If a judgment is entered against you, a Special Civil Part Officer may seize your money, wages or personal property to pay all or part of the judgment and the judgment is valid for 20 years." I called the Superior Court of New Jersey, Special Civil Part, and asked about my case.

Okay I know that when something is assigned to collections, that they send you something out notifying you. You then can let them know you dispute the report and request all the information etc. Then you can work with them based on what they have. Yesterday I get a call from this guy who tells me I was expecting him? I tell him no that I have no idea who he is. I had an idea he was collections, but for whom and what no clue. I know everything is recorded so I answer carefully. He tells me USAA filed something with him.

I live in Indiana & curently have 7 internet pdls. From reading this site (Wonderful!), I need help determining if these are illegal. I have listed the loans & amounts paid. THANK YOU!! Got a call from the number 888-281-1209 saying I owed on an old credit card. Said they sent me litigation papers recently and that I didn't respond. I never got such papers. The guy said they would stop the lawsuit if I settled with one payment. Called themselves United CC or UCC. I can't find this agency name anywhere on the net nor the phone number. Anybody have information?

I started with 8 accounts total that I needed to settle off the bat- 2 are now settled, so I'm now left with 6 to go... 2 are supposedly in collections (I sent DV letters last week but no response yet). United Recovery has by HSBC account and apparently Redline Recovery has my BOA account. My question is- how come they sent these 2 accounts went to collections when they were only 60-90 days delinquent when they charged off? At this point they are just past 90 days due but I thought they generally don't charge off until 180 days?

My wages are not being garnished yet, but i am worried that they will do the voluntary garnishment, is there a form i can give my emplyer to be on the safe side in case they do try to do something in the future? Or do i need to wait till somethign has happened? Thanks!!

Anyone have any info on speedycashtoday.com, they are one of my pdl's that I have, any dealt with them before. I've defaulted with them and i'm wondering how difficult they are to deal with. I'm trying to knock my pdl's down one by one and i'm just trying to figure out which one to start with. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Also I when i filled out the app for them it was on trust vault or something like that, anyone have any info on that. Thanks

I took out a payday loan with ABC payday losn. I have not finished paying on it yet. They say I owe 590 but will settle for 413. I borrowed 350 and made 2 payments of 105. My account has been closed so they don't have access but they keep calling me at work and my friends and family. I want to pay them back but cannot make the payments they are asking for. I do not have a debit card so the women told me to get a prepaid card. Can't I just mail them money orders? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
