two sheriffs came to my door today to serve me papers. i was not home.my elderly aunt got the papers, then called me at work hysterical and crying over the incident. "they had guns..." Anyway i owe HSBC/Orcahrd bank 1710.00. I ahbe been sued and have twenty days to respond. The lawyer listed in Apothaker and Associates of Mt. lAUREL, NL. dOES ANYONE HERE HAVE ANY EXPEREINCE WITH COURT CASES INVOLVING LVNV OT THIS LAW FIRM?? PLEASE HELP.

Are all Sallie Mae loans federally subsidized?? How can you determine if it is or not? The loan does not show up on the nslds website. Will statute of limitation apply to this loan if it's not federally subsidized? Thanks.

Hey everybody, I posted a few days ago before registering, but now I've registered and I'm back to ask my question. So: Has anybody out there ever had something repossessed? Car, motorcycle, TV -- anything? Are you fighting with a bank or collection agency now? I'd love to hear your side of the story. A little background: I'm doing research for a documentary about the repossession industry. We want to talk about what it's like to deal with collections, the struggles of individuals in today's economy, and what it's like to be repossessed.

Anyone heard of icollectdebt.net? I received a call threatening to prosecute for check fraud. On a payday loan from Cash Connect Company (which I have never heard of) When I thought about it, there was one company that I put a stop payment on because they had taken $75 out every other week on payday and had already taken out way more than the original $250. I called that company and was told that debt had been sent to collection agency. And that the only way was to contact the agency by email at [EMAIL="customerservice@icollectdebt.net"]customerservice@icollectdebt.net[/EMAIL].

My wages have been subjected to a 25% garnishment for an outstanding debt for a Bank Of America Credit card. The firm handling it is P Scott Lowery. The original purchase was around $3700 I believe which my ex husband and I paid on for about 2 years at I believe around $100 per month. Then as our marriage deteriorated, we stopped paying bills, it was a very bad time. It was a credit card that at a time when things we going well he had me fill out, then talked me into putting a pinball machine on. At the divorce, I took the debt because he took the house which was also a financial burden.

Does it mean my credit is improving if I am starting to get Credit Card offers. Example, Capitol one keeps sending me offers...

Does anyone have any info on this company? I got a payday loan though cashnet and they are saying i need to pay them now, but they are asking for alot more then my original loan amount. They guys name had "inspector" in it. Are these guys legit? they are saying i am going to loose my job because i used my work e-mail. any help would be much appreciated. Thansk!!

Has anyone else had a problem with the site either loading very slow or not at all (getting an error message)? For a while there I thought the site had been hacked.
