I have two loans in my house in California, I m trying to Modify the first loan but the second I have not paid in over 4 year, real time resolutions has the debt...can you tell if they can collect or foreclose on that second Loan... Is the statue of limitations working on my favor?

If you get a call from a collection agency/legal department/attorney's office threatening you with legal action if you dont pay, chances are they are not legit. A real collection agency will contact you via writing and phone and will not make such threats. Just speaking from personal experience.

I just got a phone call...I did not answer. The message left stated "this is Mandy process server with URG. I am in need to serve you a court summons. Since I was unable to contact you, I will be asking local authorities to serve you at your placeof employment or resident. " Now what? There was a phone number left to call as well as a long case number...do I call...ignore ? I was just feeling OK, and now this has me worried and nervous again..
