Has anyone ever make a cc settlement payment at the banks(BOA's) retail location? If so, what are the advantages or disadvantages? Please reply back with your thoughts?

My husband and i reside in TN. He took out a online PDL with cashinminutes. I borrowed 200 and there has been a man by the name of travis watson that has been threatening me. He used to call now a woman by the name of linda brown claiming to be an investiagtor calls and harrasses me. She told me she will have me locked up if i dont wire money to them moneygram. I asked for theit physical address to send a money order and she refused. What am i to do? And r they legal to operate in the state of tn?

Is there a cost to use your company to consoldate my debit?

Hello all: I need some advice on dealing with fast cash personal loans. My original loan amount was $250, and the debt is now at about $700. A group called "National Credit Adjusters" is currently trying to collect the debt, but I have had no luck working with them. I received a call from them they would settle the debt for around $400 but I had to pay it by 12:00 (noon) or they would "file against me" in a county where I used to live.

Here we go again ... I had a payday loan from Total Lending in early 2008 (among many others). When I finally closed my bank account and tried to get out of this mess, I had overpaid Total Lending. I sent them a C&D letter along with notification that I had overpaid them. Instead of responding to me, they sent my account to collections. Each time, I tried to deal with the new collection agency by sending DV letters. Each time (I think 3-4), instead of handling it, they just sent it on to another collection agency.

I had a couple of heart attacks. was in hospital for 5 days. I had what I thought was good insurance. I have several hundred dollars in medical bills left over. Now I have lost my job and it appears my x-employer will be fighting my unemployment benefits. I have been turned over to two collection agencies who won't leave me alone. I was in Trinity Hospital, Rock Island IL. I begged them to set me up on a payment plan. My insurance paid them about $50,000 and my cardiologist $15,000. I have paid $800 so far but like I said, I lost my job. What can I do? I have no wages to garnish.

I have to sign Statement of Disputed ACH Items. I have sent letters to these places stating I would pay them only if they send me a mailing address so I can send money orders.

Ok, so I was contacted by 'The Law Offices' last Tuesday for an old PDL I took out with First Bank of Delaware (Check N Go) back in 10-07. I know I owe the debt, I even paid over $1300 before I had to default on the loan. The balance owed is almost $1400, but 'The Law Offices' is willing to settle for $500.00, paid in 2 payments via Moneygram, payable to Integrity Management Group. The original creditor is listed as Check N Go Installment Loan & the current creditor is listed as Resolution Management, LLC. The address given for 'The Law Offices' is a P.O Box 1006 in Amherst, NY.

I have a telephone conference on 9/21 for a debt. It says a 15 minute conference call. What sorts of things should I expect? Would I be able to submit a Motion for Discovery at this time or does this need to happen in writing? Also, will I be able to explain some of the problems Ive had with this collection company at this time?
