I have recently taken out a $500 loan at Advancemenow but had just lost my job and they are not willing to work with me on the payments. The interest rate on it is 353% for a 31 day loan. I have also just found this site, and never knew that some lenders are illegal. What does this mean and what are my best options? This is in the state of South Dakota. what is the repo laws in illinois for being 24 days late on a vechile payment

I took out a loan in January to pay to get my driver's license reinstated, at the time I was working at Convergy's as a Directv Tech Rep, and was making $10/hr, and grossing over 1K a month. However, due to unforseen circumstances, I had to stop working there. Since then, I have tried working out a payment arrangement with advance me today, but haven't been able to work out a repayment plan with them that I can afford.

I had a voicemail this evening stating that this was their final attempt to contact and that I must contact them tomorrow before the end of the business day. I'm assuming they are contacting me for Ace Cash Express. I live in Alpine, Alaska. I just defaulted on my PDL in December. I didn't think they would sue this quick. HELP!
