I have $1521. debt with Capital One which is based off of a $500 balance! Sucks!! Anyway, I really would prefer to talk to Capital one instead of the Collection Agency. Is there a law or process ...In which you can request the debt is returned to the original creditor

If one student lender is the lender I signed the promissory note with & I am paying them -I am not late, etc. Then another lender tells me I now owe THEM for the same loan. I send them a letter from my lender that says I am still paying them but the scam lender just ignores me & demands payment ignores my proof of payment. Don't they have to show me some PROOF that my real lender gave them the loan? I already am paying for the loan - but if lender A gave one of the loans to Lender B - then Lender A should pay them. What do YOU advise?

Curious if this has happened to any one else. Last night at about 9:30 PM CST phone rings. There is a local number and a name on the phone. I pick it up and is someone trying to collect a debt for oneclickcash. I googled the telephone number that showed up on my caller I.D and it was a Child Daycare Facility in Dallas. I called the number, too, and indeed it was a child daycare facility. How can they do this and is it legal?

I hope i came to the right place. i'm desparate with a big number a pdl.And it's not the 1st time. Last year i was at the same situation, but had already paid almost 8 times most of the loans i had at the time. Being desparate went to my bank and they help me close my account after paying down my negative balance. Most of those companies kept calling me for most and finally stop except 2 that send me in collection (but they stopped also). After seing how much i lost in that venture i decided to never do that again.

I received Pattern Interrogatories from the plaintiff after judgement. Some of the questions seem inside my legal my legal right not to have to answer and some of these questions seem irrelevant if I do answer. Everyone please help me try to understand my rights here if you can... Do I have to answer; 6. State the name, address, account number and type of account for every financial intitution (bank, savings and loan, credit union, brokerage house) where you have an account or where you have signature authority on the account.

*sigh* Okay, I got behind on a credit card at the beginning of college and I am now dealing with the repercussions. Around May 15th academy collections called me and basically went off on me. The lady who I spoke to (I have her name) told me that I needed to set up payments or it would probably go to court so on and so forth. I was ready to start making payments b/c I just got done with my bachelors and got a great job. I told her I could only afford 400 a month. I told her these payments would have to come out on the 1st or the 15th.
