I took out a payday loan with a place called cash net. I made the first 2 payments. Then I lost my job. The 3 payment was due July15th. I have no money to pay it. I called cash net and told them I have lost my job. Now a man named Mike Hargrove is calling my house telling my wife we are going to be sued. Telling her that I am a criminal and Im going to jail. He called her 5 times yesterday. She said his english was broken and she couldnt understand him. So she keep asking him to repaet what he had said.

In January I received a letter from the law offices of Howard Schiff in reguards to a Capital One card account that wasn't mine. Sent a DV letter. In early July I received a responce with a computer print screen of a lot of numbers not much else,so I filed it with the letter. In the mean time I went to court with them last week on a Capital One account that was mine and it was dismissed.

Hello, all. I am in the process of trying to resolve several outstanding negative entries on my credit history. They're the worst kind. They're all for less than $1,000 (most under $500), and the result of a calamitous mail forwarding (or lack thereof) when I moved several years ago. Most are within months of "falling off".

I was told I'll be arrested if I don't pay 42 dollars on a loan of a 135 dollars that I renewed because I got behind. I plan to pay it all if they haven't tacked on an enormous late charge and interests. Do you think they will work w/ me? I think they should be charged for usury, don't you?

So I took out a PDL with CMG Group in May but couldn't make the payments anymore once I got put on medical leave from work. I tried calling them and trying to set up payments to try and pay it off before it even went into default and they refused payment. So then I decided to go ahead and use PDL Assistance and so far they have done pretty good with everyone else but CMG refuses to take payment from anyone at all because they keep saying I have to pay them with a credit card which I don't have since I filled bankruptcy a little while back.

Right now I am using PDL Assistance but am not totally happy with them. I have looked at the Langhore website and saw that some people on here have used them. For anyone that has any experience with them, how long did it take to get everything paid off with them and what were they like? Do you feel like they did what they were suppose to or did you have problems?

I asked DCS for the specifics of the Rehab agreement in writing and the CA refused. She said they cannot provide that to me unless I agreed right away while we were on the phone. She gave me a whole bunch of good info over the phone but won't put it in writing?

Soaplady/Community: I have been trying to work with GC Services for over a year (if you count the attorney who gave up). Yes I am in default. I am willing to pay. They absolutely refuse to send a payment schedule, offer me a payment that does not change with each contact, or respond in writing. They ignore all my written inquires. They say they do not handle any business in writing. They claim to not accept payment by mail.

I had a credit card company that got a garnishment in november to take my state tax refunds. This week end they took all the money out of my bank account. I called the bank, but they claim that it is legit, they can get a court order to take your bank account and they don't have to notify you about it until it is already gone. This does not seem legit to me. I am waiting for the papers to come so I can see what they look like. Has anyone else had this happen to them. they left me with nothing and I have no money for gas to get to work.

What is a good defense for asking for a court to dismiss a case against collection agencies.
