i am seriously contemplating filing bk, i guess the deal breaker for me at this point is weather or not payday loans can be included. i've read mixed anwers online. some say you can and some say you cant. i know it looks like somone just went out and got a bunch of payday loans then said ok i'm going to file bk now, but thats not the situation. we've been in payday loan debt going on 2 years now and we are no closer to paying them off than when we started. we still have 11 active payday loans we havent defaulted on, and about 4 that we already defaulted on.

I received one of those letter from eastside lenders that they are licensed in Delaware and so on. I am located in the state of Missouri and they are sending me to collection and harrassing me on the phone. What can I do?

hi, I am new here. I have a big problem and hope someone can help. This past week my bank froze my checking account due to fraudulent activity. Someone printed checks with my name on them, filled in an amount, and signed my name to them. My bank honored all of them, not even checking my signature card or anything. I have 3 payday loans, all online. They have all been receiving payment by withdrawing it from my account.

How can I effectively get these payday lenders to stop taking anymore money?

hi all, I am from MICHIGAN.. started daytrading stocks since 2003...used up all my savings for this biz and living expenses( around 300K ) also used up my ira Would appreciate if i can get some advice/help.. I am thinking of filing chapter 7 as a individual cause my unsecured debt cc is around 80k...missed 1 payment by 2 days and they have hiked up their rates this month...expecting other cards to follow...so far have a pretty good credit record and score of 760.but my my new increased rates i will be overstrecthing my means..

I had two illegal payday loans I live in new york. I followed all the steps as suggested and my account with CMG and Midland Financial were sent to ACR. Anyway those people were extremely rude and unprofessional i filed compliants with the BBB, AG, nys banking dept, FTC, FCC as recommended. I received a response form the BBB stating that my compliant would remain unresolved. ACR stated that they did nothing wrong but i would not receive any more comminication until they could validate the debt. That was over a month ago. What should be my next move?

I am really, really considering a debt settlement program but the threat of a lawsuit really concerns me. Does anyone know how quick some companies are to sue? My debts: B of A - $33,000 Citi - $11,500 HSBC - $8,500 Wells Fargo - $14,000 Discover - $9,000 Capital One - $7,000 Thanks in advance.
