i closed my old account due to many pdls... now one of my pdl called CASH ONE..got my new account..how did that happen? i never gave them my new account number to them but i do remmber telling the lady that i will pay next paycheck and that i dont have the old account anymore its closed. and now i checked my account and they got the full amount from my new account...how can pdl do that? how can they get my new account????

how can my goddaughter consolidate these loans so that she can have some kind of a life?

Hi. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but couldn't figure out where exactly to post it so here goes. I live in MS and got served with a wage garnishment today, for a medical bill. I have been told to file a slow pay motion, but when I called the clerk's office they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Any advice? I really don't know hwo to proceed from here. I know there are ways to stop it, but I wasn't sure if I even called the plaintiff's attorney's office if they would help me.

Has anyone else heard that the first payment to progressive is non-refundable? I looked as hard as I could in the contract but only found where the fees were non refundable, not the whole payment. But it's possible I overlooked it

Hello, I took the advice of what was written in regards to my situation with instatnwages.com and wrote them abck saying that even though they are under Delaware Law...I don't live in Delaware and therefore the rules of South Dakota apply to me and not the rules of Delaware. I went on to say that a payday lender needs to have a license in SD to issue payday loans and instantwages.com does not...therefore..I am only obligated to pay back the principal on my terms and nothing more. Do you think they will try and sue me for the interest money??

Asset Acceptance is trying to collect on a debt that was paid in 1989. They want proof that I paid it. During a cleaning episode about 5 years ago, figuring the statute of limitations was up on that old loan, I threw the papers out. They are calling me and mailing letters demanding proof I paid the loan. I have been advised to ignore them because it is ridiculously old, but it bothers me that they can do this. Any advice on how to get them off my back?

I have got myself in a big mess with payday loans. I have 4 of them and I got all of them on the internet. I now am unable to pay the bi-weekly payments because they are so high. I live in Texas and I do not know the laws behind payday loans for my state. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I plan on paying them off but I need to know how to go about setting up a different payment plan with them and not have the interest eat my alive. Thanks.
