How Best to Deal with My Debt?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to deal with our debt. Here's the situation... We have about $45,000 in unsecured credit card debt. I am currently making minimum payments on several accounts, and a bit more on a couple of them, which results in monthly payments of around $1300. This is about the maximum we can handle, and I would prefer to be closer to $1100 or $1200.

I did some googling and apparently it's California Attorney's Collection Service, Inc. and Georgia Attorney's Collection Service, Inc. I wasn't home last night and they left a bit of a threatening message with my dad.

I used to have a loan with this company. A few weeks ago I recieved and email from them in regards to another customer. It was mistakenly sent to me. It had her personal info, how much she borrowed, due dates, etc. That is so crazy that they can be so careless like that with peoples information, it makes me nervous that they probably still have my info and who knows how many times my information was mistakenly sent to someone else. Just today I received yet another one by mistake letting the person know they are waiting on the faxed documents to approve their loan.

re:payday loan yes

I have 2 payday loans that I recently fell delinquent on. They both set up payment arrangements with me. One sent an email confirmation outlining the arrangement in detail(i.e. dates & amounts of withdrawels). The other (payday loan yes) stated that I owed them $500 even though I only borrowed $300 plus a $90 fee. They said that they could offer me an agreement of $300 and it would be PIF. I made an arrangement over the phone for 2 payments of $150 plus a $5 processing for both payments. I requested an email confirmation twice for this agreement and I never received one.

How to settle a debt

My husband got a summons a couple of days ago from Asset Acceptance for a credit card account they had bought. It is still within the sol and is for the amount of $1800. There is no court date but it says that he is required to serve upon the plaintiff's attorney within 28 days after receiving the summons. I want to settle this account out of court if possible but I am not sure how to go about it. There are two pages explaining the complaint which then lists a group of four attorneys calling them Staff attorneys.

FURIOUS WITH PAY DAY LOAN YES

BEWARE! i am absolutely furious with this company and want to warn others. I ran into some issues with multiple pay day loans and i am attempted to settle them on my own, some are working with me, and some are not. A few days ago i made arrangements with pay day loan yes and agreed to 4 payments of $50, but yesterday i had a debit of $335 from my dda causing major issues. I just spoke to them and told me my agreement because i didnt pay up on correct date. the loan is now paid in full, though it put me in hard spot; but this company can go jump.

DIY debt settlement - will I just make it worse?

I am current on all my accounts, paying the minimum every month. I don't have trouble paying the minimums, but I can't afford to pay any more than that. I have trimmed and cut my budget down as much as possible to get to that state.

Cash Net

I got a call from a Calvin Daniels telling me that he was from the law offices of Cash Net. I asked him the name of his law office and the phone number and he told me that he could not give out that information, then he proceeded to tell me that I will be picked up tomorrow and taken to court and will owe $5K on a $300 loan. Then when I asked him for my signed loan documents, he told me that I had no right to see them. He spoke very bad English and the caller ID said "Sallelite TV" with the number 973-482-3624. I called the number back and it's out of service.
