I'm at a loss. NES did the same game with us they did with everyone else. We came so close to a settlement but they refused to remove wording out of the settlement letter allowing them to add charges after we sent our settlement payment in. Since they refused to change the wording, they said the offer was off the table. We sent a C&D letter and DV request. I got back the green receipt card so I know they got it maybe 2 months ago.

I need to figure out a way to get caught up. My situation isn't horrible but it is getting unmanagable. I have a family member getting ready to go Chapter 7 in Ca. All of their accounts have been delinquent for over 15 months and haven't incurred any charges since then either. I'm just wondering if it's normal for Chapter 7's to go fairly easy, or do many of you end up with responses in regards to claiming you still owe them? thanks

Is Pay Day loan yes legal and licensed in Missouiri?

I have been paying on a collection they have on me and every month i pay the thing they keep reporting month after month a KD on one report and simply an X on the other. Should i just start disputing this?

Hello, Unfortunately, after separating from my husband and having some major unexpected medical bills, I am caught in the payday loan cycle and I can not get out! I was paid today and from a $1500+ paycheck, I am in the hole until my next payday! I have both store front loans and internet loans. If someone could advise on what my next steps should be, I would greatly appreciate it! If at all possible, I do not want to have to close my account.

My husband had a credit card he got before we got married. We have been married 13 years. It was at 7000.00 and we were having trouble paying it. We paid what we could and it changed hands about 4 times. Now it is with a law firm who whats us to pay 10,500.00 in a year and we can not do that. What should we do? I know SOL in TN states 6 years but do we fall under that? I don't understand? Thanks
