My husband and I need some serious help. I've been reading some of these posts, so I'll share our situation with you. All our payday loans are store front loans. We are in Iowa. We feel bad/guilty if we can't pay because we truly like the people we loan from. Here's what we have: Check King-DH owes $500 2 weeks from today, I owe $500 today Check into Cash-DH owes $338.XX today Hometown Cash Advance-I owe $500 today Check N Go-I owe about $200 today I intend on paying my Check King today, but not paying the other 3 today because we just don't have enough money.

Wells Fargo wrongfully charged with fraud of her own account My only questions are: Why the hell she still with them and why the hell didn't Wells fargo close down the account immeidately and open up a new one? I thought that was automatic procudre these days?

I got a call from eastern asset management they said it was in reference to a mastercard account from 2000 they said it was in process of going to court and they offered me a pay off which i and not afford. they said if we go to court the judge will ask for full payment . I cannot pay without a real low payment plan how do I talk them into it. Will they judge order it all payed at once also

Does anyone know who this is or has anyone dealt with them?

I have heard so many different things about entering into a settlement program with recent balance transfers on the account. Does anyone know what the deal is? Is it ok to do? Will the credit card company report you to its fraud department? How many payments after the transfer should be made before entering into debt settlement?

I have been getting calls from these people for a few months requesting to speak to my sister in law. I have told them many times that she does not live here and to please take my number off thier records. Last night, yet another call, however the gal i spoke with was extremely rude. I told her not to call us anymore and she..hung up on me. I called back and got another rep who basically yelled at me that I wanted my number removed and thats what was done so get over it!

Is there anything in the law that specifies how a creditor must report an account that was charged off but is now settled? I'm fighting with Target National Bank to report my account as settled and with a zero balance. They are just reporting it as charged off with a balance of $475 (difference between what I settled for and the original balance). I've disputed it with the credit bureaus but nothing changed. Now I've sent a letter to TNB telling them it should be reporting as settled with zero balance.

I received a 1099C for a short sale on an investment property. I lost large sums of money purchasing and holding this property for over 5 years. Is there any way to offset the 1099C income with the losses I sustained?

I know that adverse accoutns generally stay on credit report for approximately 7 years. From what date does that start? First late payment, 60,90 days delinquent ect. Also, if you have an account with a few late pays here and there...then it goes to collections..then charge off. When does the 7 year report time start? First delinquency, charge off date, or do they make it up!!
