Was curious as to which chapter hurts your credit more, chapter 7 or chapter 13.

What conveniences are offered? Is it safe, or will other people get access to your accounts? How does the bank guarantee that your financial and personal information is secure? What are the different services offered, and the requirements needed to obtain the privilege of on-line banking over the Internet? Also, please explain which feature you personally find the best. Is there a bank you would prefer over others? Why?

By home loan I mean a home loan and not a personal property loan like on a trailer home/manufactured home in a trailer court. I qualified for a home loan and I want to keep it cheap, so I want to purchase a piece of land and a manufactured home. Will this work as a home loan if its on private land?

I keep getting e-mails from numerous companies about pay day loan offers. But I only want to pay over a course of at least six months. Has anyone heard of such a place, and if so could I please have the e-mail address and/or website?

I just found these bloodsuckers on my credit report..They evidentally just bought an alleged delinquent debt I had..Will they sue me? The debt is w/in sol but they haven't done anything w/in the last year..Any good news? Bad news??

So I have 100k in private student loans from Sallie Mae. My payments have been pretty high, $750/mo which mostly goes towards the interest. I have been faithfully making payments each month for over a year but I recently lost my job and became unemployed. I contacted Sallie Mae to find out what my options were. I was told I could apply for an Economic Hardship Forberance to help bridge me to my next job. The problem is that I have a co-signer on this loan which Sallie Mae requires his information as well.

When I request validation of a debt, what constitutes validation of the debt? What specific items/info ect. Also, can I request validation after the 30 timeline? Does this change the process? I just found a ca on my cr and don'r remember any communication with them at all! Wondering what to do...

Thanks for all of the great advice on this board! I would like to negotiate settlements with 7 payday lenders and am quite nervous about it. I could use encouragement from people who have successfully negotiated with them in the past.
