Which big three do you work for? message.. I feel so privliaged now.  Ha! I wish.. I'd have a great credit score... and be telling EVERYONE how to delete inaccurate information off their reports

I am way behind on my car payments...just found a new job and am considering my options...the collection agency offered me three options to settle, paying the collector a percentage of the balance... If I take (in one payment) one of the options, would I be able to keep the car, even though it's a settlement? I've heard collectors will tell you anything...so I was wondering what you guys think...I'm trying to avoid paying the settlement, then finding my car repo'd anyways... information is power, thanks...

Has anyone heard of this company? I've search several websites and doesn't seem to be many people that have dealt with them. They have been calling me for several months now. They have yet, to send dunning letter. I haven't answered their calls since the first couple of times that they called.

I've been working on my credit for the past 6 months now and i haven't recieved any documentation from the creditors or collection companies validating my debt with them. I know now that I'm supposed to send an admission by silence letter to each of the companies that haven't responded to my request for validation. With that in mind what is the admission by silence letter and where would I aquire one. Any input would be helpful, thank you.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my earlier posting about who to report a payday lender to. Now, I have more problems. Little Loan shop keeps debiting my account. My account is overdrawn. I put a stop payment against them. They said they have the right due to my contract to debit from my account until the balance is paid in full. Also, they are saying that I have an installment loan. In the past, I only had a standard loan where I paid by a certain amount. I noticed on their website that it says when you log in did you get your loan prior to 10/14/2008.

I have been sued by uni fund.  I did send an answer a while back and I got a response from a law firm with just statements that I have never seen. I did not see any signed contract. Is there a site with good responses for Discovery requests? Do you think it is too late if my arbitration is in late May? Any good sources for what to do in Arbitration?

Hello all! It's time for me to be responsible for my actions and I have decided to work on my credit. (Sorry for the long story ahead of time)   I have 5 charge offs (Chase, HSBC, Cap. One, Amex and WaMu whcih is now Chase).   HSBC shows charge off  as of Aug 2008 and sold my account to another lender. Balance shows $0 with no CA reporting on any of my reports.   WaMu (Chase) shows charge off as of May 2008 and also sold my account to another lender. Balance is also $0 with no CA reporting on any of my reports.   Here's the 3 biggies: Chase, Amex, and Cap.

I have 2 cars financed through capital one. One has just been charged off and I was told I needed to pay $2711 before they will even make payment arrangements for it. They haven't found the car yet but I know they will soon. The other account will be going into repossession soon if I don't make a payment. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Both cars are in just my name. My husband and I filed ch 7 back in 1998 and it was discharged in 1999. I think maybe I should file again and just get rid of them both. I have so much debt coming at me right now I just can't keep up.
