Is there anything like this that I can send original creditors? I have told them that I have retained an attorney, but they are still constantly calling me. Thanks for any help!!

I'm finding like 4 addresses for Mycashnow -- I want to make sure and send the letters to the right address... has someone had LUCK with mycashnow - and if so, what address did you use? Thanks in advance!

Can you call your lender directly and ask for a lower interest rate, etc. Or do you have to use a lawyer?

I am caught up in the endless cycle of having to renew payday loans because I cannot pay them back in full due to the interest. I am considering closing my bank account and opening a new one to get a fresh start. I will then make calls to the companies I owe and make arrangements to pay them back on my own schedule. Does this sound like a good plan?

I another stupid one, I live in Florida. I got an internet loan from Cash Banc. I paid on this loan forever and finally closed my account. The balance of the loan so they say was $195.00, I paid the original amount I think it was $300.00 3 times over. They have sent me to collections Mr. Brown 1-800-518-6270, who states the balance is over $700 and they are going to garnish my wages. HELP!!! They wanted my bank account info and I told him to take me to court they were never ever again getting my personal info. What else can I do. I will not pay this amount, it's rediculous. Thank you

I'm in need of advise and hope someone here can help me. I've had some bad things happen and have made some bad choices, between major medical with my husband and daughter both over the last several years, plus the economy. I let several of my credit cards go, I tried to work with the original creditors at first, but got nowhere. Anyway, I have a collection agency calling me now on one that has been charged off, part of me wants to pick up the phone and deal with and the other part of me wants to bury my head in the ground.

It's been a week and BOA hasn't called. And this whole month they've may called once a week, which is strange because they used to call several times a day. I saw one post saying something similar... Anyone else experience this? I've been hoping for a settlement offer, but so far...none.

Hi, like everyone else I am struggling in payday loan debt. The loans I have are from internet loans seeing as though in Pennsylvania storefront PDL's are illegal. My question is that I am trying to find out the state in which 2 of my payday loans are licensed under. I've checked my contracts and I don't see. One of the loans (MYPAYDAYLOAN.com) is based out of Costa Rica! Is that legal?!? and the second one is from MyNextDayCash.com. In total I have 5 loans open and one (through checking out this forum) I have realized exceeded their maxium amount they were allowed to give me.

Hey, I bank at TD Bank (formerlly Commerce) and I really am fed up. Last year they really messed me badly when I was with my payday loan cycle. After belittling me for wanting to my account on a hard block, and after hours spent with corporate trying to permantly close the bank, they messed me so bad that I ended up paying hundreds more to illegeal companies who I already over-paid by hundreds (maybe over a thousand) of dollars. After I complained about that, they waived their "cycle" fee of $15 a month for another year.
