I was ripped off for $17,000 approx 4 years ago. We could never find the guy, I filed FBI report Is it beyond the limit? Any attorney want this? Thanks Gary

I am late on all of my cc's - 15 in all. I get calls all day... as many as 100 a day. What can I do to stop this? Would changing my phone# help or could they find a way to track it down?

My husband and I have been using Credit Solutions for our credit card debt. When we placed everything we had 21000.00 in debt. We have been with them now since August 2008 so a little over 6 months. We recently settled our first card, it was Juniper bank, for 25%. I was super happy with that and hopeful that the rest of the cards would start giving us good settlements. We have 5 remaining after the Juniper card. I'm just getting a little more nervous now as it's been over 6 months and I dont want to be sued. My Questions are: 1) we have 2 cards that are thru capital one.

I want to settle with BofA. I last paid my BofA cc 3 months ago. Will they have access to my checking account that is also with BofA? Can they check balances, deposits and overall history?

hello, i am 29 yrs old, Last year i got involved with the Payday Loans. I have a total of 7 store fronts and 1 internet. Which totals to almost 1500 hundred dollars. all i can pay is the 30 fee. i want to make it clear i didnt get the money to blow it. i have a lot of pride and didnt want to call parents when i ran into tough time. so i turned to payday loans and cant get out of it. i i need help i have no where to turn. i live in TN.

OK I am helping out a friend with National Recovery Agency DBA N/R/A. He found them on his credit report and disputed it. Trans Union deleted the entry, Experian verified it and Equifax he has not heard back from yet. I disputed it again with him for Experian and it came back verified AGAIN. I called them in the past for him and they said they had nothing on him for his name or the file number. I now called again today and now they say it was for Columbia House and they said PAY IT. Now I call another company who sent him a letter in the mail for this same account a few weeks ago.

I am 24 and in my third year at college. My basic problem is that when I was 21 I got a contracting job doing internet marketing and never put money aside for taxes. I'm about 10k in debt with the IRS now and owe my credit card around 3k. With my current situation I have about $400 a month I can use to pay the IRS. I have not submitted a payment plan with them yet because 1. I recently had x-rays done on my teeth and that will cost me thousands and I don't know how to organize payments for medical, credit, IRS and living expenses all at once quite yet...

We have about 98K in unsecured cc debt. 21K have legal payment plans in place from where they attempted to sue us. The last payments made were back in dec 2007. Which is when we signed up with credit solutions. Who ripped us off. We now have much higher balances and ruined our credit. We spoke with a lawyer and he recommended BK. I just hate to go there. I can come up with appx 20-25K is this enough to settle my debt? We owe sears card, citi card, chase, bray & lundsford atty, and collectcorp. But then I understand we will have to pay taxes on that savings.
