Not for me, my sister's boyfriend recently got sued by his old landlord for back rent from 2001. This seems rather odd for this landlord to come back all these years later for back rent. So basically my question is if there is any statute of limitations on rent. They live in Wisconsin.

I settled most of my own debt at or around 20-30%. My wife has 2 wamu business accounts with 9,000 and 1 with 12,000. I have enough to settle at 20% 1 lump sum or 5,000 with 4 payments. I was thinking like 2,400 and 1,800. Both are at or near charge off 150+ days. What do people think. They will settle the 9,000 one for 4,500 right now which is all my $ on the smallest one. Then the other will sure to CO. They are done in a week and will go to Chase. So for those who have worked after a charge off, can you get 20% easier or is it tougher?? Thanks for everything.

i am $6000 dollars in debt with the military star card i just went through a divorce and the bill got dropped on me we are about 6 months delinquent on the debt i am in iraq and they keep calling my parents and harassing them is there anything i can do they want 2700 upfront and 1100 a month there is no way i can pay this much

So I need to make a payment to NAFS by 12pm tomorrow or my account gets reactivated and I lose my payment plan option. I am stuck because I am going to need to give them my checking account info so I dont get screwed. Has anyone heard of NAFS taken more then the agreed upon amount? If so what are my legal remifications? Thanks PA DEBT

they called me today saying i owed a debt from 2001. Dont remember that far back but have payed everything i have owed on. The amount was over 4000.00. Something that bad i believe i would remember. I haven't been mailed anything but they would fax it to me. What should i do? Seems that they couldnt collect on this anyway with the time frame, but if i owed it i would have payed. Oh they did say that it was on a credit card. I have only had one card and i still have it. Please someone tell me what to do.

I spoke with my mortgage broker today. March 4th the guidelines for the housing plan will be released. He told me that I should be able to refi even though I owe a little more than the current value of my home! That is good news. Jason
