My fiance and I have a motorcycle (actually in her name) which I love, do not necessarily want to part with but she made a late payment before so intrest rate is 21+%. Since this bike was purchased thru a credit card more or less can we do a call to them and request dropping intrest rate etc, like I have seen on the forum? I dont want to end up paying 14k for the darn thing, Cant sell it. (no one can afford it lol) please email me

I am trying to figure out what I need to do to rid myself of these. I am just really not sure what to do exactly and am really stressing about it. All my PDL's are current, next due date is Friday 03/06/09. Should I wait to call them a day or so before they are due, or when is the best time frame to call? Also, if I called them all and was able to set up an EPP wouldn't I kinda be in a similar condition? (thinking they would all or some want the loan paid off over 4 paydays?) Which for a $300/loan would be $75/payday for just one loan. So, should I just set up EPP with a couple?

I do not want to have to pay alot i just want to stop my home from being forclosed? Could you help?

I got feed up with this system of slavery and called it quits with my Credit Card companies this past July. 9000 to Wells Fargo 7000 to Redwood Credit union 2500 to american express 2000 to hsbc 1000 to wamu (^^^ Credit Cards) 8000 to hsbc for a motorcycle credit card around 1000 in overdrawn bank accounts 35k in student loans I joined the Army (infantry baby!), and will have $10,000 of bonus money July 1st of this year. I have a total of about 90K in debt that I would rather pay than settle. I am current (as of now) but the debt is increasing. I am trying to get BofA to reduce interest on a large signature loan (about 40K) to keep from needing either debt management or settlement. So far they have refused to adjust my interest. Does anybody know of a better way to convince them?

Do you know before a judgement is filed and if so do you have time to file for BK? Also can you still file for BK if you have a judgement filed and get it included in the BK? I have been trying to deal with these CC calls today explaining I am self employed, that I would like to make these payments but I can't right now. That I would like to work this out but with 6 creditors wanting a piece of the pie unless these companies dealt with me reasonably I would have to file for BK. I just want to know how much time I have to deal with this.

I figured everyone would get a laugh out of this one. I'm was speaking with a customer rep at Discover about settling my account. During the conversation this rep actually told me to get a husband to pay the account off! And if that didn't work, I should go bankrupt because Discover doesn't settle! I just had to laugh which caught her off guard. I've got this on tape so when I need a laugh, I'll just replay the tape. Hope everyone gets a chuckle out of this. :lol:

My husband & I are in a financail whirlwind with pdl's - we have talked to the pdl's stores about trying to pay off the loans in a smaller amounts... we just can not keep going this way. There is almost no money after paying bills, the loans, etc... we are very behind... I have read on several blog sites that best thing to try to get out of the pdl's is to close your checking account and try to make payment arrangements with each store. Can i get some advice about the laws in AZ about closing a checking account?

Does any one know anything about zip cash? is this there real name??
