Does anyone know anything about "Heights Finance"? I think that they are an installment loan company operating in Missouri, Illinois and some other states?

I have several accounts that I am trying to settle on my own. One is with Discover and it is technically only 20 days past due. I have talked with Discover several times but was not seeking a settlement just yet since I am still getting funds together to pay off several accounts.

has anyone ever heard of New Falls Corporation??? claim to be a debt collector but will not give any information regarding the supposed bill

I emailed all my PDL companies with the letter suggested in this site (of course with the updates with my information). I received a XXXXXXXX statement which states that they do not have to abide by Nebraska law because they are in DE and they are a short term consumer loan lender. They gave me a month to pay the balance with a $120 interest fee. ************************************************ Here is some of the legalese used in the email: Company Name makes short term consumer loans pursuant to licensure and regulation by the State of Delaware.

I am also in payday hell and am putting together list for all to see. I am in Illinois I have a question, I have one account with The Cash Store (store front) which is more an installment loan. Is there any help with these? amount fin.

Do these even exist anymore? If so, what is the best way to go about obtaining one?

This is a really weird question. Two years ago I had an account with capital one that went to Forster and garbus. I had paid the amount and then they had tried to add an extra 300 some odd dollars. I had called them and asked what it was for and they said it was for court costs etc. I had explained that I had never been served with a summons and that if it had gone to court they most certainly would have taken it from my bank account. I then sent them a long letter asking for an explanation of the amount and stating that I had never been served etc.

This is a great forum. I just want to take the time out to give appreciation to everyone who has giving their time to respond to real people facing real debt problems. Sharing your experiences helped me and I became more informed on becoming debt free. This site help me realize that I am not in this alone.
