Section 392.302 (4) causing a telephone to ring repeatedly or continuously, or making repeated or continuous telephone calls.with the intent to harass a person at the called number. My Question is does this apply to O/C and if so does calling calling every hour count as continuous calls with the intent to harrass ? Thanks

201-917-1784....it's out of Cliffside New Jersey. I keep getting calls with that number but no message is left. Also I have a debt collector that has recently started calling but I have never received anything in the mail from them telling me what they are calling about. What can I do?

I can't make out what is advertising, bashing or legit. Could someone facing debt problems recommend a company that could help me with about $33,000 in credit card, personal loan debt. My payments are on time but I expect to soon fall behind. Please help. I expect to fall off the financial edge soon.

Please help! I went to check my bank account this morning to pay bills turns out that a lawyer debited 6700.00 out of my account for a judgment for past due rent in the amount of 3500.00. Now my account is thousands of dollars overdrawn!!!

My husband and I have been in Ch13 since last September, but we can no longer afford it. My health insurance at work has gone up almost $220 per month, and after bills, we don't even have enough money to feed ourselves. What I'm wondering is, is it difficult to get a car loan reaffirmed? I know that we qualify for Ch7 by a means test, but we took 13 because we didn't want to lose our car. We are super upside-down in the loan. (Like $9000 over the bluebook value.) I'm going to call my lawyer on Monday, but i just wanted to see if anyone on here had some good advice.

I received my certified mail green card back from SPD Financial yesterday so at least I know that it was received. I logged into their website to view my account and it says it is in collections and I owe $390. I already paid them $1,170 and in the letter I sent them I requested a PIF and a refund of $870. I live in NC where PDL's are illegal but what happens if this loan goes to a third party CA. What can they do to me? I've alreay paid above and beyond what I owe.

At the beginning of the week I closed my bank account and opened a new one at the same bank.. The branch manager assured me everything would be fine and that no ACH would reopen it because there was a block on it.. She said she would handle my direct deposit switching to my new account. Friday comes along, I check my old online account and BAM.. -$1400. Then by the time I had gotten to the bank to see what was going on my paycheck had posted and my balance was +$300. The payday loan had already cleared and I only had $300 left out of my check.

How do I print that letter that I should send to illegal lenders? I tried to print it so I can use it as a guide to write e-mails and letters to the illegal pdl lenders I am dealing with but it didn't print. Thank you for all your help. This forum is a real God send!
