How do I stop credit company from calling my job?

Does anyone have a address for them and a fax number? Some guy keeps calling for me at work from Florida but I though they were in Ok?

Can a credit card company call and bother you at your job?

Just went in and made my last payment to Advance America :D Well on my loan anyway. Still working on hubby's there :? It will still be a little bit for his. Have 2 more payments on a different one and the 2 that are in collections should be paid off in 3 months :D Plus I disputed a bunch of stuff from my credit report and got the results back and they wiped a bunch of it off my credit report :D :D So those I don't have to worry about paying anymore!!! WooooHoooooo!!!! It came up to a couple hundred bucks I saved doing that :D

a financial institution has threatened to put a freeze on my checking account for a debt on a car that my ex wife got in the divorce along with financial responsibility ..what steps have to be made before this can happen

I can't find copies of the contracts that my husband signed with these companies. Is anyone aware if they use the wage assignment form? My question for the community is how long after I quit paying on my account will a credit card company assess late charges, over limit fees, and penalties ? Will they accrue until it is charged off or can they accrue even after that? Thanks

Basically the same problem. Got served with a summons to court in a county in which I have never lived for a credit card balance of over $4000. The account in question was paid off over 7 years ago to another collection company. I don't have the reciepts anymore! I sent a letter to the attorney and the court stating the above...what else can I do???? What is the statute of limitations in Florida?

Please help . . . . Had a citibank credit card for a long long time. It was at $30,000 at one point. My husband brought it down for me to $11,000 in the last three years. We could no longer afford the payments which were $560 per month. We were still paying interest on it as well. The card was in my name only and I tried working something out with them. They said they would get back to me. . . . . a little history, - - - I have been a full time student for the last few years so I'm not working.
