I was approached by phone by LifeGuard Financial. Has anyone had any dealings with them as far as debt reduction?

Is it better to consolidate or better to go through debt settlement - I mean in terms of credit score, etc. Thanks!

If you are having a difficult time paying your mortgage, I suggest that you contact the Mayor's office IN YOUR CITY, and ask them about the FEDERAL GRANTS that have been allocated to assist distressed homeowners. Some citys don't have these grants, but should be able to direct you to other sources of assistance. I told my co-worker about this...she contacted the mayor's officer, they in turn gave her the telephone number of another source who was able to help her.

i ahve about 60,000$ in student loan and an additional 3,000 in credit card loan .I am a full time international student with small part time job .can i consolidate my loan and debts in to a small monthly payment

About a year ago I opened a cell phone account for me and my roommate. Everything was cool at first she agreed she would pay her half and I would pay mine. Things got out of control I lost my job. She promised to pay her bill and mine. I thought how nice of her. We started to have issues she never paid it, I recieved a bill for almost 2,000 and I didn't and still don't have the money to pay that off. A couple days ago I called the company to see how much I owed and they told me I had be sent to collection. What can I do about this, this has affected my credit score what are my options?

Since he makes over 80K, his lawyer told him that he should also include credit cards payments that are in my name in order to show more expenses and less ability to pay his old debt. I am not so comfortable with the idea since I have a credit score of over 800 and saying that my husband is paying for my credit cards scares me. His credit is destroyed and I don't want to jeopardize mine. Thanks, Ana

Are they legal in pa? I reported them to the bbb. they ignored the complaint. I reported them to the AG. haven't heard anything yet.

I defaulted on cash central. The man who called today said if i did not send 120.00 today, they would call evey day until it was paid. He also said " you had 8 other loans that were paid what is the problem now" Now I'm really pissed. Doesn't he think they got enough money with the 8 other loans? They want 120.00 now and 350.00 within 2 weeks. I borrowed 400.00

:evil: This company keeps calling my phone, trying to find a family member, they will not disclose anything. I want the phone calls to stop. Tell me how to contact someone in that company that can do this or tell me what the call is about, if they have my phone number I should have the right to be told the problem, not can you get in touch with ----- for them. I call that doing their job. I have had enough.. This must stop or I will contact the proper attorunites to get someone put against this company.
