whats the interest on a $750.00 with a %300

Hi! I need some advice please! I recently received an email from Paradise Pay Day Loans in November of 2009. It was for $300. I paid them back approximately $500 via direct withdrawals from my checking account. Shortly after, due to some financial hardships the bank closed my acct & that's when the harassment began. I was getting threatening calls at work on my cell phone. Every which way I could be contacted, they called. Out of fear, I looks on another forum and found a sample letter to send.

Hello, Just wondering if anyone has a link to a letter template to use when asking a PDL to prove its sovereignty. Seems like they could just put on its website that they are part of some tribe and we are suppose to take their word for it. Also, thought this was funny. Used a letter I received off this site to send to the PDL to let them know I was not paying and the response was the same response many on here have received -- listing this site by name and stating, "posters on these types of forums tend to traffic in misinformation and mistruths.

I have had ID theft problems for the last 6-7 years. In any given month, I have at least 2-3 attempts using my personal information to try to open some sort of account online. I have Lifelock, so I have been able to keep up on most of it, but I just found out that someone opened a PayPal account using my name this past summer and owe a debt of $400. I know they tell you that every time you have an instance of ID theft, that you should file a police report with your local police or in the jurisdiction where the ID theft took place.

I received a form 1099c from a collection agency for a car loan that i had years ago, they repod the car and put a judgement on me. can they still try to collect ?

I paid off a credit card that had been sold to goldstein, henderson and weiss by plains commerce bank. I checked my credit report on 1/31/13 and I show that plains commerce is still reporting the balance of 324 that I owe. Even though I paid it off with goldstein, Can I dispute the 324 that plains is showing, since it was paid off?? Any advice. I am trying to clean up my credit and advice on that as well. Is it smart to pay off the accounts in collection? I have 9 in collection of those 9 I paid one off in full friday and I have setup a payment plan with another one.

I am stuck in the same situation as everyone I have 2 payday loans one with Plain green for 1800 after paying 135 approx since October I still owe 1700 and some and one with Great plains for 1300 which also since October after paying 125 every paycheck I still owe 1200, I am in Az and I was okay with paying them until my employer closed my position switched me to a different department and dropped my pay considerably about 4 dollars an hour, so I have given it some thought and have decided to close down my account but what happens after that is beyond me can they sue me for the money, can they

I have several payday loans, and live in the State of Virginia. I am unable to keep up, having lost a job. IIs there a way out of their terribly high rates of repay, or am I stuck? Do they have to be licensed in this state to collect.

Hello community. This is my first post and I would like to say hi! :) I used to be very active on another online credit forum/community and was toooooooooooooo ashamed to post there about my pending Ch. 13. I joined said board in 2007 and learned so much and received so much information on repairing and maintaining good credit. In 2008 I filed Ch. 7 and started rebuilding my cred. Make a long story short.....I screwed up again, got laid off during the recession, etc. etc. And am now back in the hole. I just filed my taxes today and as soon as I get my refund I will be filing Ch. 13.
