Can anyone tell me what happens after the 60 day waiting period (after the credtor meeting) is up ? How long until the bankruptcy is discharged and do I have to do anything else?

i have on payday loan for 555.00 that is due on friday, we are already behind..and i dont wnat all the fees from the bank i live in florida the loan is through advance america , cash advance centers of fl. we plan on paying them with our tax return...do you think they can presue criminal chargeds? :x

I sent a cease contact letter to Zwicker and Associates on 10/31. Also sent a debt verification request letter. They never verified the debt. They stopped calling but started again today. Next steps? I would like them to verify the debt and when they do I will work with them in writing as advised by everyone but they do not seem care what I am requesting. Should I call them?

I have looked through some prior threads on this company and found several that said they were illegal and were based out of Canada. Of course, I could be wrong here - and I am sure someone will corerct me if I am - but it appears they may have moved to another location. When I went online yesterday to get an extension to my loan with them (to give me time to get ACH blocked and account closed) here is what their information came up as on the contract: paydaymax.com Inc. I contacted MMI to help me consolodate about $20K worth of bills. I am finding the woman very curt and unwilling to really work with me. Here I am reaching out for help, she has told me she can do $600/month (which includes $40 +$10 /month fee). I am pretty sure I cannot swing $600 a month but I don't know what to do. I have people up my back to pay them and I am at a loss. I really don't know that I want to go into settlements because I don't want to get sued. Any advice?
