not sure if its paychecktoday or cashadvancenetwork, but i need some help from everyone that has delt with arm. i know alot of people have been sucessfull. i know i need to send a c&d certified mail. what else do i do. i know from reading on here they are not licensed to collect in my state. the guy was all serious saying i need to call immediatly, then after reading the number he said wait thats the wrong #, call this #. then read a diffrent #. then said this is a formal complaint. i know its all collection bs but i know i can beat them. any advice is appriciated.

My friend put me down as a reference on her online payday loan and I have these people calling me twice a day trying to get a hold of her. I'm sending out a cease and desist letter tomorrow. Here is my question: She lied on her loan application. She is a single mom and has not been employed for at least a year. I'm not sure if she forged a pay stub or not but she said she was desperate and edited her bank statement to reflect her income exaggeration. She is really upset and worried.

I have read several differant threads of others who have actually gotten refunds and PIF's from 3B and Little Loan Shoppe. I sent them letters and filed complaints with BBB, MO Attorney General and the Fed Trade Commision today. Just wanted to confirm or hear from others who it has really worked for??

For those in Ohio that may run into this type of suit, here's a counter suit that came out on top. :) Hope it helps. What happened in this counter suit Ohio case: Recovery sent Howard a preprinted form in heavy lettering, while the personal information relating to Howard was in different lighter type. The form did not mention the verification notice. Ten days later Howard sent a decease communication letter along with a request to verify the validity of the debt.

I found this site recently and it helped me get through a lot of payday loans. However, I am still mired in debt and have had to stop paying my credit cards for several months. My wife is recovering from breast cancer and we never quite financially got back on our feet. We have too large a mortgage, a huge college loan payment for my sons (who can't help yet), a car payment, and utilities. After the bills, we barely have enough for food. We came to this site hoping to find a way to set up payments to our debtors, but were scared away by the per creditor fees.

I went to a realtor to kind of get an idea as to where my credit standing was and to enquire about purchasing a home with my fiance. He printed out a report and although its not great its not as bad as I anticipated. I have a few questions. 1) I have seen on various posts and sites about clearing up any old info such as addresses, inquiries, etc... Why is this a good option and how to I go about doing that?

I live in PA and i heard the statute of limitations on credit reports is 4 years. Is this 4 years from the date is it was opened or 4 years from the date it was closed? An example is: Verizon PEN 500 Technology Dr.
