:oops: i just closed my checking acct which my bank told me to do.i still have 5 outstanding loans. what do i do about them i am afraid they will garnish wages. i called mi finanace and am filling out their form in the meantime. they are all internet based and illegal in the state of mi. any suggestions

Hi, I pulled my credit report from a company called Identity Guard. It shows that I have a collection for $35 with a local hospital listed as the creditor. I called the hospital and they can't find a record of it. Should I send a dispute to the reporting agencies? -Thanks

my daughter has recently split up with a live in boyfriend and now faces the debt they accumulated together on half of the income. She owns her own home and has about 4,000 dollars of credit card debt and vehicle debt of 21,500. She has been in the home about 5 years has good credit and nets about 1700 a month in income. What are her options at this point????

Hi all!! I posted about a week ago b/c I was in a panic about the NINE storefront pdl's I have in Kentucky. At that time, I had not defaulted on any of them. Instead, I was going from store to store every payday to pay my loans and re-borrow. Today, that cycle ends. I don't have my job anymore, and I am going to go into each store and tell them that I must default. Some of these stores are CFSA members, others are not, but frankly that doesn't really matter bc I can't afford to pay any of these off in four equal payments. My battle strategy is this: BEG FOR MERCY!!!

I received a letter which I was cc'd on from Mann Bracken which states that they have enclosed documents for the document hearing and the only thing they included was past billing statements. I had previously asked them to validate the debt which they have not thus far. Is the past billing statements a validation of debt? :?

i got a student loan, they have garnish my income tax twice, and now they are taking it out of my check weekly....help personal information removed
