My husband has about 50,00 in credit card bills and i have about 10,000. I did not want to file with him i was going to pay my off through settlement but the lawyer stated that it will be better if we file Chapter 13 together and combine all the debt, What i dont understand we have about 65,000 in unsecured debt and he said we would be in a payment plan to pay $100.00 for 36 months so thats a total of $3,600..

can I pay off my loan on 11-14-2008, if so do it

Okay I have disputed several things on my credit reports and they are coming back saying this item has been verified. Also I noticied that once they have been investigated in the comments it states - "comsumer disputed but item has been verified on 10/2008. What does this mean??? I am under the impression that the credit reporting agencies didn't do a full investigation just verified that this company has my name and infor, is this correct??? If so what should my next step be??? Is there a letter I should send out??? PLEASE HELP!

how can i confirm that northlands is legit. and that any arrangement or offer they have proposed is legitamit and will actualy pay off this old debt..a company called resurgent capitol services also known as lvnv funding app 6 months ago urged me too pay off this debt by opening a visa credit card .no way wanna payoff but to whom ..is northland legit or a scam will there offer of 1/3 of the orignal debt in 3 payments clear up this debt or just make me a victim thank you

:( Hello - I am in a complete jam with payday loans, and would welcome any advice. I live in NJ and currently have eight loans outstanding, all of which were secured via the Internet. I have had loans on and off for three years. I make a decent living, but am barely keeping my head above water. I am considering signing up with Langhorne debt solutions, but am scared that closing my checking account as their program requires will cause the PDL companies to harass the people whose names I provided as references.

I have payday loans that have gotten out of hand. Now when I get my check, most of it is gone in finance charges resulting in my not being able to honor some of my living expenses. I don't have cash to get into a consolidation program. Does anyone have any suggestions. I'm so embarrassed, but this has gotten out of hand and I'm a physical wreck.
